Support for survivors of every gender

Our mission

Show up.
Listen closely.
Stand together.

An independent education initiative built around a simple commitment: no survivor should have to face sexual violence alone.

Why we’re here

Change the conditions.
Connect the support.

Show Up For Her Now exists to confront sexual violence through education, solidarity, and survivor support. We challenge the expectation that people must organize their lives around avoiding assault and place responsibility where it belongs—with those who cause harm.

We stand with survivors of every gender, including women, men, girls, boys, and nonbinary people, and connect them with understanding, community, and resources across the United States.

This project grew from a long-held desire to make support and trustworthy information easier to find. It begins with education and connections to existing organizations.

Three commitments

What showing up means to us.

01

Discuss and educate.

Make room for honest conversations about sexual violence, consent, accountability, and prevention. Keep responsibility off survivors.

02

Support and connect.

Help survivors and those who care about them find established resources, including support for incest and childhood sexual abuse.

03

Stand together and act.

Create practical ways for women to support women and for men to challenge abuse, listen, and become accountable allies.

A name with an open door

Centered on her.
Here for you, too.

Our name speaks to the urgency of standing with women. Our welcome includes every survivor. Men and boys are never an afterthought, and transgender and nonbinary survivors belong here.

We provide educational information and links to independent services. We do not offer crisis response, counseling, case management, or a moderated survivor community.
